They are the first Tuesday of every month
at 7:00 PM in our Library.
The Columbia Elementary
School PTA is a nonprofit association working to promote the
health, welfare, safety, and education of children. The PTA
holds fundraising events to benefit students at Columbia in
many ways.
PTA funds are used to
provide:
- Field trips for
students
- Special assemblies at
the school, including musical, theatrical, and
educational presentations
- Top Cat pins and
photos to recognize student achievement
- Extra classroom
supplies
- Scholarships for the
Young Writers' Conference
- Recognition of Safety
Patrol students
The Columbia PTA is
affiliated with the Washington State PTA, and the National
PTA. More than 133,000 people belong to PTAs throughout
Washington state, and there are more than 7 million PTA
members nationwide.
